“If you want anything done well, do it yourself. This is why most people laugh at their own jokes.” -Bob Edwards
Not sure if I agree with this completely...I do love a good shared laugh.
Anyhoo...
Some would agree that the "Do-It-Yourself" phrase simply means taking on a new task without the aid of an expert or professional. Some would agree that not knowing where to start is the first major hurdle. Some would agree that a little guidance offers inspiration and motivation.
When exploring the unknown. It's OK to be clueless. It's OK to feel out of your comfort zone. It's OK to figure it out yourself, but it's also OK to ask for help. We are all in this together. We are all life long learners, so be prepared for unplanned detours along the way. Whenever we truly feel lost:
Remind yourself to reach out. Remind yourself to smile. Remind yourself to be easy on yourself. Remind yourself to laugh at your own jokes.
Remind yourself to share your jokes, even if they're terrible.
"If you want anything done great, do it together." Me.
Discovering balance together.
